V: I just thought of that [topic] when I looked at the picture of balloons


M: What are we going to talk about about balloons?


V:How fluffy and floaty they are


M: Fluffy?


V: I don't know. I just had to think of something


M: Interesting.


V: Very.


M: How fluffy are they?


V: Not very fluffy


M: Would floaty be a better word? Oh sorry, you already used it.


Molly flips the page in the notebook she is recording the conversation in.


V: Did you just crumple up the paper?


M: No, I flipped the page.


V: Oh..... that explains it


V: Yippee tai yay. Yippee tai yay. I don't know, that was odd. Uncalled for.


Valerie begins singing Deck the Halls


M: Don't you think it's a bit early to be singing Deck the Halls?


V: It's a bit early to sing the First Noel too.


M: Our readers won't understand that.


V: You were writing all of this down, weren't you?
