We are the light of the world

We are the light of the world
We are the city on a hill
We are the light of the world
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine
We are the light of the world
We are the city on a hill
We are the light of the world
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine
Let the light shine, let the light shine

Couple funny pics :)

Hobbit joke - couldn't the eagles drop us off a little closer?

Something's up - the farmer just unfriended me on facebook!
(my computer doesn't think unfriended or facebook are words!!!)

"Name two pronouns." "Who? Me?"

It all comes down to bacon.

Oh, if dogs could only talk :)

I thought air was free - until I bought a bag of chips

IMHO - In My Human Opinion

IMHO is used in texting and emails to mean In My Humble Opinion. As Christians, there is another set of 4 words that have the same abbreviation - In My Human Opinion.

When God asks us to do something, the conversation might go like this:

Us: well God, IMHO (In My Human Opinion) I am not ready for that. Not only am I not ready, but I am not capable either. I don't know why you asked me to do that. How about something easier?
God: In My All-Knowing, All-Seeing, and Omniscient opinion, you are ready, capable, and prepared. I will be beside you.

Stop telling starting responses to God with IMHO. Trust His opinion :)

You are God

Song I wrote...

You are God
And I am not
No I am not
The one who's in control.
You are near
And I'll stay right here
I'll stay right here
Cause you're the one who makes me whole
You are God

Dorothy's Tornado Sweeps Away Settlement

My homework for my Mysteries in American History class was to write an article (tabloid or news magazine) about what really happened at Roanoke, the lost colony. Here it is!

Dorothy’s Tornado Sweeps Away Settlement

By Emily Gale
Though many theories have been tossed around about what happened at Roanoke, the answer has come to light. The island of Roanoke vanished in a similar way that Dorothy vanished to Oz.
In the middle of the night, when the colonists were all asleep, a violent storm blew in. The storm included a tornado bigger than anyone had ever seen before. The colonists tried to collect up their belongings and leave, but the winds were too strong. They were all swept away and never seen or heard from again.
After many Meteorology tests, it was discovered that the tornado on Roanoke was the very same one that took Dorothy to Oz! This discovery stunned Meteorologists and left everyone asking one question – where will this monster strike next?

Some funny pictures :)

Have a great day :)
