Amazing song that I really like by Switchfoot - it's called Faust, Midas, and Myself. My thoughts are below but I'd recommend listening to the song first.
A heart that is made of gold can't really beat at all
Such a great line. The whole song is about chasing pleasure on this earth but missing out on the point. The point is the beauty in this life. God has blessed us with an incredible life, full of joy and love, and it's so easy to miss! We often chase our desires and get so caught up in them that we tell the rest of our life, the beauty God has given us, to 'just hold on a minute'. It doesn't stop.
